The Road To WrestleMania is always fun and the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view looks like the final stop for the Raw brand before the Show Of Shows this year.
We already know three of the male participants in the Elimination Chamber match being Elias, John Cena, and Braun Strowman. Just the fact that Strowman is in the match really ups the odds for absolute carnage. But the other three names on the men’s side is yet to be made official.
However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that at this point the match is also set to include Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. This would present an excellent chance for Reigns to win and secure his spot at WrestleMania which he’s been earmarked for since last year.
Jason Jordan was supposedly slated for a spot in the Elimination Chamber match but his status isn’t certain because he is reportedly dealing with a neck injury. It was once thought to be a back issue, but Meltzer reported WWE has been trying to protect him and he’s having issues with his grip which is usually a sign of neck problems.
The Women’s Elimination Chamber match is reportedly going to be Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville if the local advertisements in the Las Vegas market are any indication of things. It’s uncertain who will come away with the title in that match, although it’s interesting that Asuka was advised to wait until after the Elimination Chamber to make her choice on who she will be facing at WrestleMania.
