Kickoff Show

Breezango and Tye Dillinger vs. Shelton Benjamin, Chad Gable and Mojo Rawley
Pretty good match to warm up the crowd. Breezango and Dillinger got the win.

Main Card

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev
The crowd was hot for this match and the reaction was split between “Rusev Day” and “Nakamura” chants. Nakamura won after hitting a Kinshasa to the back of the head of Rusev and another one to his face. Really good match.

United States Championship
Bobby Roode (Champion) vs. Randy Orton
As you would expect from Roode and Orton, this was a good match. Orton won with the RKO to win the United States Championship. Jinder Mahal attacked Orton but Roode saved him by hitting a Glorious DDT but then Roode hit Orton with the Glorious DDT. Roode’s music played but Orton is the new champ. It sure is looking like a Triple Threat Match for the U.S. title at Mania.

Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. Natalya and Carmella
Natalya’s distraction with the MITB briefcase in her hand allowed Carmella to hit a kick to the face on Becky Lynch. Carmella then got the pin for her team.

Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Usos (Champions) vs. The New Day

Big E was at ringside for this match. They were having a good match until The Bludgeon Brothers walked out to the ring and attacked both teams. They used the mallets too. Before they walked to the back, they laid out Xavier Woods with a powerbomb on the steel steps. So I guess this means that the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania will be a three-way…or a four-way if they include Benjamin and Gable.

Smackdown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair (Champion) vs. Ruby Riott
It looked like it would be just a one-on-one match because Riott didn’t come out with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan but that didn’t last long because Morgan and Logan walked out to ringside during the match. Naomi and Becky Lynch evened things up. The referee tossed Lynch and Naomi and that allowed Morgan and Logan to attack Flair. The referee saw what happened so he told Morgan and Logan to leave the ring. This allowed Flair to make a comeback. Flair won with the figure eight. Flair retains and she will defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania. Asuka’s music played. She walked to the ring, looked at Flair and then pointed to the WrestleMania sign. It’s Asuka vs. Flair at WrestleMania.

WWE Championship – Six-Pack Challenge Match
AJ Styles (Champion) vs. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler
The match started immediately with Cena hitting AA’s on everyone except for Styles. So we got Cena vs. Styles to start things off while everyone else recovered at ringside. There was a 5 vs. 1 beatdown on Cena and that took him out of the match for a few minutes. A few minutes later, Corbin and Ziggler crashed through a plastic barricade in the crowd. Cena hit an AA on Styles through a table. They teased Zayn vs. Owens but Zayn laid down for him. Owens didn’t believe him so he attempted a pop up powerbomb but Zayn rolled him up and almost pinned him. They fought at ringside. It looks like we might be getting Owens vs. Zayn at WrestleMania even though the rumor is that they would be in the Andre The Giant battle royal. Zayn got in Shane McMahon’s face at ringside. Owens tried to kick Zayn but hit McMahon instead. Owens had the match won after hitting a pop up powerbomb but McMahon pulled Owens out of the ring before the referee could count to 3. Zayn almost had it won as he went to pin Owens but McMahon pulled him out. A few minutes later, Cena hit an AA on Corbin but Ziggler broke up the near fall. Owens hit the pop up powerbomb on Ziggler but Styles flew off the top rope to hit the Phenomenal Foream. Styles pinned Owens. Styles vs. Nakamura is still set for WrestleMania.
