Another WWE star has been sidelined with an injury and that is why plans changed on Monday Night Raw. Samoa Joe vs. John Cena was scheduled to take place on the show but, as first reported by WrestlingObserver.com, Joe suffered some sort of knee injury over the weekend at a live event in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Joe was off Sunday’s live event in Tupelo, MS and the belief is that he will be out of action for six weeks or less. WWE has not officially acknowledged the injury but I would imagine that they will have something up on WWE.com within the next few hours. Once we hear more on his injury then we’ll pass along the update.
