For the first-time ever the female Superstars of WWE closed out the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Yes, the women’s Royal Rumble match was the final match of the night. Maria Menounos was the special ring announcer. Stephanie McMahon was the special guest commentator.
Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair watched the match from ringside. Asuka, The Bella Twins and Sasha Banks were the final 4 women in the ring. Asuka won after eliminating The Bella Twins. After the match, Ronda Rousey made her way to ringside. We still don’t know who Asuka will challenge at WrestleMania. Rousey pointed at the WrestleMania sign and then shook Stephanie McMahon’s hand.
