With the Royal Rumble just around the corner, it might be a good idea for WWE to make sure everyone in big matches is able to compete. But it looks like that Kevin Owens and Jason Jordan might still be having a little trouble in that department.
Kevin Owens is in a match with Sami Zayn as they take on AJ Styles for the WWE Championship in a handicap match where the Yep Movement strives to become co-champions. Even though that sounds ridiculous, this is the current storyline. But it looks like Kevin Owens is still having some back issues because he was pulled from house shows this weekend as well making it two weeks in a row that The Prizefighter couldn’t make live events.
Things don’t look much better on Raw because Jason Jordan is also still apparently injured and unable to work house shows for the second week in a row. Jordan is in a match defending the Raw Tag Team Championships alongside Seth Rollins against The Bar at the Royal Rumble. But hopefully, he’ll be able to get better by then.
PW Insider reports both of these guys are still suffering from the same injuries they were last week which kind of puts some plans up in the air. Although nothing has been confirmed and JJ’s injuries haven’t even been disclosed, this still might be something to consider in case WWE is forced to make any last minute changes to the Royal Rumble card.
