When Ronda Rousey spoke to TMZ about a possible Royal Rumble appearance the former UFC Bantamweight Champion said she was headed to Bogota Columbia “right now” so she could shoot a Mark Wahlberg movie. It looks like she got there safely because Rowdy Ronda posted a short video from Columbia to provide proof she was out of the country to shoot Mile 22.
But even though she might be out of the country, that apparently isn’t changing the betting odds because she’s still listed as a favorite to win the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match with 10/11 odds according to SkyBet.
Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that his gut says to believe Rousey that she won’t be at the Royal Rumble and her letting fans know where she is going could have been a way to let them down easy so it won’t disappoint fans and possibly destroy the atmosphere when she doesn’t show up
But you never know what can happen in WWE because after all, they’ve been known to pull off some crazy travel plans in pinch before and most people believe that she wouldn’t have been training so hard in a pro wrestling ring unless there were intentions of her doing something. However, WWE can always build toward a WrestleMania match for Rousey even if she can’t make the big show in Philly.

To provide even more evidence, Ronda Rousey posted another shot from Columbia on the set of Mile 22. It simply said she is back on the set, but it never said how long she was needed. After all, if they could afford an absent Rousey on Sunday then anything is possible because WWE has a private jet and knows how to use it.
But at this time, Bryan Alvarez commented on Wrestling Observer Live that the women backstage apparently don’t know what’s going on. So if WWE is keeping a tight lid on the big inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match, who knows what they could have in store for us?
