Hulk Hogan didn’t do himself any favors with Women’s Royal Rumble tweet

Hulk Hogan’s name has been marred in controversy before so it is nothing new to him. But the pro wrestling legend probably wasn’t considering all the angles when he posted a tweet about the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble.

The tweet read: “Wish I was in the Rumble I would have thrown all the girls over the top!! Lol. HH”

The Hulkster has since deleted the tweet and with good reason, because there are a couple ways to read that tweet which aren’t very appealing.

It could only be a matter of time before Hulk Hogan is welcomed back to WWE if they think advertisers wouldn’t mind having him return. But as Dave Meltzer pointed out in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the kind of language he used can’t be defended in a “public court.”

Therefore, Hogan might need to watch what he says in the meantime because he was blackballed for racially insensitive language including slurs concerning a man he thought his daughter Brooke was sleeping with in the stolen audio from a tape filmed without his consent.

With so many complicated details surrounding Hulk Hogan at this point, it was probably a good idea he deleted the tweet. Let’s just hope he can avoid any more social media faux pas in the future.
