It looks like WWE’s established ranks are going to be expanding soon enough as the Cruiserweight Division is about to get a pair of new titles.
We previously reported how WWE is set to introduce new WWE Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles and now it looks like we have an idea of what those belts will look like. It wouldn’t surprise me much if the new titles are purple, but the design is pretty nice, to say the least.
The WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team titles were a very short-lived idea in Turner Land but now it looks like WWE is going to give the 205 Live guys a shot at having a tag team division. In all honesty, these titles are much-needed because 205 Live features a lot of tag team action.
It might be interesting to have Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman show up to present the new titles when they go to their new owners. After all, Mysterio and Kidman were the last to hold the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles as The Filthy Animals before the idea was abandoned when WWE bought WCW.
