Combat Zone Wrestling has announced that Rich Swann will not be appearing at their show on Saturday night. Swann has pulled himself out of all wrestling bookings and he is not handling some of the backlash he’s received online too well.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that, among other shows, he’s pulled himself out of a booking in Mexico for The Crash promotion and all WrestleMania weekend shows. He previously said that he would fulfill his remaining commitments before retiring.
Here is the tweet he sent out before he made the decision to pull himself out of his scheduled bookings:
After all the bookings ive taken im so scared to step in the ring but i cant wait lol. But after there done i will be retiring. Thank you for taking the chance on my name
