At the start of AEW Fight For The Fallen, it was announced that Tony Schiavone would not be on the show this week because he was waiting on his COVID-19 results that did not get back on time. This does not mean that there is concern that he has the virus.
AEW makes sure everyone is tested before they are cleared to appear on their weekly TV shows. Jon Moxley was pulled from the last tapings out of precaution because his wife Renee Young tested positive. QT Marshall was also pulled from the last set of tapings out of precaution. Diamond Dallas Page later said on his YouTube channel that he heard that Marshall tested positive for the virus.
The action at Fight For The Fallen was called by Jim Ross, Excalibur and Taz. Schiavone is still scheduled to host the post-show at 10 pm eastern.
