Global Force Wrestling is now without a champion and the news came after quite a bit of wondering about what they would do. There have been a lot of questions about GFWโs absent champion as Alberto El Patron carries out a suspension from the company due to some extracurricular shenanigans in an Orlando airport.
So, Alberto El Patron has been officially stripped of the GFW World Heavyweight Championship. The decision was made after an internal investigation determined Alberto didnโt handle himself like a champion during his awful airport altercation with Paige. Although the couple might have survived the public drama that stemmed from this event, it doesnโt look like Albertoโs title reign came out unscathed.
But now former TNA Champion Bobby Lashley considers this newly vacated title his and he wants it back. He posted that sentiment along with an angry emoji and a fist bump which weโre assuming isnโt meant as a friendly gesture in this case.
Only time will tell what GFW does with their biggest title. But weโll know all of the answers during their next set of television tapings as they head toward the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. A new champion needs to be crowned and it very well might be Bobby Lashley.
It will definitely be Bobby Lashley if he has anything to say about it.
