If you would love to see Daniel Bryan get back into the ring then you’re not alone. Plenty of people loved watching him work and when he was forced to retire in February 2016, they were heartbroken by the news.
But for those who were sad and want to see The Bearded GOAT back in the ring there’s reason to cheer up. Daniel Bryan talked to Edge and Christian on their Pod Of Awesomeness about how has been receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Treatments and he’s well on his way to getting back to what he loves to do.
Apparently, Bryan’s other doctors don’t view the lesions WWE’s doctors warned about as quite that big of a deal.
“I told him what happened and I said, ‘[WWE doctors] found a lesion in the temporal-parietal region of my brain. [Bryan’s other doctor] goes: ‘Wait, hold up, a lesion?’ I said, ‘yeah.’ And I don’t know what lesion means to you guys, a lesion to me means you have a cut. I have a cut on my brain. He goes, ‘No. Lesion, in medical terminology, is a very vague thing. It just means something is there. We don’t know what it is, so we call it a lesion in the temporal-parietal region of your brain.’”
Apparently he’s jumped right into treatment and Bryan has already noticed a big change.
“There’s this vast improvement. And Brie sees the vast improvement. And then Dr. [Barry] Miskin thinks within 120 total treatments, so 80 treatments more, that my brain could get back to where if you looked at it from any other spectrum, you would think that I’d have never done any contact sports in my entire life [..] There’s no reason why I can’t return to doing what I love”
It might only be a matter of time before we see Daniel Bryan back in the ring. Whether it’s in a WWE ring or not is still another question entirely. But the fact that there’s hope we’ll see him wrestle again is good enough for us at this point.
