The WWE Monday Night Raw 25th anniversary show is just days away and a ton of names have been announced for the show. There are 2 glaring omissions. One of them is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Hulk Hogan. We don’t know what The Rock will be doing on Monday (he could be busy working on a movie) but if he doesn’t make a surprise appearance then I would bet on a taped video, at least.
However, it looks like The Hulkster will be free on Monday Night. In response to a tweet from a fan, Hogan said that he would not be in NYC for Raw on Monday. He said, “I will be home watching and cheering on my friends next Monday on Raw brother HH.”
Hogan has been persona non grata since 2015 when the National Enquirer posted excerpts of him saying the n-word on the sex tape that he led to a long and successful court case against Gawker.

WWE never shut the door on a return but the company line has been that they would need to wait for the right time to see if it’s appropriate to bring him back into the fold. One of the main things they would be worried about is the reaction from their sponsors.
Hogan could be telling the truth about his plans for Monday or, if things have been fixed with WWE, then perhaps he is being saved as a surprise for the show. As Hogan has said in the past, “never say never, brother.”
