James Ellsworth shows up at indie wrestling event to join Champion vs Champion match

This just goes to show that you never know what is going to happen when you buy a ticket for an indie wrestling show.

Austin Aries and Pete Dunne had a pretty interesting match on Sunday night at Destiny World  Wrestling which happens to be Santino Marella’s wrestling company. This was the first time ever that a current WWE and Impact Wrestling Champion faced off against each other and as it turns out the match didn’t end without controversy.

James Ellsworth won the “Santino Cobra Cup” earlier in the night meaning he could cash it in like a Money In The Bank briefcase.

Therefore, James Ellsworth invaded the main event match and went into business for himself as the match became a triple threat after cashing in his Santino Cobra Cup. Pete Dunne ended up winning the encounter and after the match was over, The Bruiserweight got even by laying The Chinless Wonder out with a piledriver. But all in all, everyone had a great time including Ellsworth.

Some might consider it interesting that James Ellsworth appeared at this event before his 90-day no compete clause was said to be up, after all, he previously said that he could start taking indie dated on February 12th. But there are always ways to get around that kind of thing if you’re clever like James Ellsworth. It also helps that WWE gave him permission too.
