John Cena has shared his thoughts on WrestleMania 42 weekend ahead of his return to WWE pgoramming as the host of the two-night event.
Taking to social media on Saturday morning, Cena wrote: “The Road to WrestleMania has been vocal, chaotic, and unpredictable. With all the hype and trash talk it is definitely a make or break weekend for veterans and rookies alike. This time of the year brings out the best in our Superstars, and I have a feeling this will be one of the most talked about WrestleManias in history.”
Cena retired from in-ring competition on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, losing his final match to Gunther. He returns to WWE tonight as the host of WrestleMania 42, marking his first appearance on WWE television since hanging up his boots. It will also be the first time Cena has served as host of WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 42 takes place tonight and tomorrow at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, streaming live on the ESPN app in the United States and on Netflix internationally. Both nights begin at 6 p.m. Eastern. Here is the card for the first night:
