The Clearwater Police Department says its investigation tied to a lawsuit against Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, and her son, Hayden Hitt, is still open, disputing a claim in the suit that the case was quickly closed.
Two lawsuits were filed in Pinellas County, Florida, last week by women identified as Jane Doe and Jane B. Doe over a March 28 party at Daily’s home in Clearwater, TMZ first reported. Both women say they were under the drinking age at the time of the party, and Jane B. Doe was a minor, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Jane Doe alleges that Hitt physically attacked her and that Daily provided alcohol, tried to recruit her into Scientology and pressured her to forgive Hitt. She says Daily threw her out of the home where she had been staying after she went to police. Her suit claims the Clearwater Police Department “quietly and quickly closed” her case because of Daily’s alleged standing in the Church of Scientology.
Clearwater police denied that in a statement Saturday, saying they began investigating in March and referred the case to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution, according to TMZ.
“The case is not closed; media reports indicating that are inaccurate,” the department said.
Jane B. Doe alleges she was sexually assaulted at the same party by another partygoer, identified in the suit as John B. Doe. She alleges Hitt offered her up for sex while she was incapacitated and guarded the door during the assault.
Jane Doe is suing Hitt for battery, Daily over alleged criminal practices, and both for emotional distress. Jane B. Doe is suing Daily and Hitt for negligence, John B. Doe for sexual assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and John B. Doe’s parents for allegedly failing to supervise him. Both suits ask for a jury trial.
Daily did not respond to requests for comment from TMZ or the Tampa Bay Times, and the Times was unable to reach Hitt. None of the allegations has been proven in court.
A spokesperson for the Church of Scientology told the Times that Daily “holds no position in the Church” and that the church has no involvement in the matters alleged.
Daily married Hogan in September 2023. Hogan died on July 24, 2025, at 71.
