Roman Reigns Is Now Advertised For Survivor Series: WarGames In Houston

Roman Reigns is now being advertised for Survivor Series: WarGames, and he is the only wrestler on the artwork.

WWE has put Reigns front and centre on its promotional material for the event, which takes place on Saturday, November 28 at Daikin Park in Houston. Tickets go on general sale today at 11 a.m. ET.

Nothing has been announced about what he will be doing there. Being on a poster sells tickets rather than confirming a match.

It is the second date on his autumn schedule. Reigns was confirmed last week for Money in the Bank, which is at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on October 10. WWE has teased that he will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight there, though that has not been made official either.

Before any of it, he has a title defence in Mexico. Reigns puts the World Heavyweight Championship on the line on Raw from Arena CDMX in Mexico City on September 14, against a challenger to be determined by a tournament involving luchadores from Raw, SmackDown and AAA. Rey Mysterio announced it this week in his role as AAA General Manager, and it starts on Monday’s Raw.

Survivor Series will be the 40th edition of the event and the fifth in a row built around the WarGames match. It is also the second consecutive year WWE has staged it in a major sports stadium, after Petco Park in San Diego last year, which drew 46,016 people and set Survivor Series records for both gate and attendance. Daikin Park has a retractable roof, so weather is not a factor.

The venue is the home of the Houston Astros and was known as Minute Maid Park when it hosted the 2020 Royal Rumble. Houston last held Survivor Series in 2017, at the Toyota Center.

It was not WWE’s first choice, according to reporting at the time. An international Survivor Series was explored before falling through, and Milwaukee’s American Family Field was then considered before the city was mooted for a future year instead.

Reigns has wrestled in the men’s WarGames match at three of the last four Survivor Series, in 2022, 2024 and 2025. Last year he teamed with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and The Usos, and lost to The Vision, Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre.

He has held the World Heavyweight Championship since beating Punk at WrestleMania 42 in April, and retained it against Seth Rollins in the main event of SummerSlam night two.
