The announcement of Ivory’s induction in the WWE Hall Of Fame is a rather exciting one indeed. Ivory worked tirelessly throughout her career to become one of the biggest names in female pro wrestling when that wasn’t necessarily as big of a deal as it should have been. Countless women are currently enjoying fine careers thanks to the efforts of trailblazers like Ivory and this is an incredibly fitting honor for her.
The GLOW alumni is also a 3-time WWF Women’s Champion and brought a serious nature to any program she competed in. She was a good wrestler before there were many real wrestling matches featuring women on television and she masterfully carved a niche out for herself. Many could say Ivory was ahead of her time but she is finally getting the honor she so rightfully deserves.
Triple H, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya have already thrown out their congratulations toward the soon-to-be WWE Hall Of Famer and I’m sure there will be plenty more to come.
A fierce and ground-breaking competitor, from an originator in GLOW to @WWE Women's Champion, #Ivory left an indelible mark on our industry. Welcome to the #WWEHOF! pic.twitter.com/7oFNf3MtPm

Congratulations IVORY on your 2018 @wwe #HallOfFame induction! YOU 👏 DESERVE 👏 IT 👏! Thanks for showing me the “ropes” in our first (and only) match we had together in 2006. Watching our match back, it reminded me of everything I love about women’s wrestling. 🙏🤼♀️💕🏆 pic.twitter.com/FvqOZ784oX
