What is WWE planning for Jinder Mahal vs Shinsuke Nakamura at SummerSlam?

WWE has quite a few choices at The Biggest Party Of The Summer, but the WWE Championship seems to be one of the most interesting parts of the overall picture. Jinder Mahal hasn’t been as successful as WWE would have liked. Apparently business in India wasn’t as booming under his championship run as they would have thought. But with SummerSlam approaching WWE has the opportunity to mix things up.

In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter it is noted WWE might decide to have Jinder drop the title to Shinsuke Nakamura. Since WWE likes having heel champions it is speculated this would be the opportune moment to have Baron Corbin run down and cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase.

Having Corbin steal the title from Nakamura just as soon as he won it would not only set up a longer rivalry for The Lone Wolf and The King Of Strong Style but it would also get the title off of Jinder.

Mahal played his part well but since pro wrestling is ultimately a business and WWE hasn’t seen the benefit to Jinder’s WWE Title run yet they might decide to put the belt on another heel they don’t have to try and book as a babyface in India.
