It’s been rumored for a few weeks but WWE made it official on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. There will be a Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal taking place at this year’s WrestleMania, possibly as part of the Kickoff show. The match will feature women from Raw, Smackdown and NXT. This is WWE’s way of getting all of the women on the show, similar to what they do for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. There had been talk of eliminating the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal but I don’t know if they’ve gone ahead with that plan or if they just plan on doing two battle royal matches at Mania every year.
Here is the updated card with official matches:
WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar (Champion) vs. Roman Reigns
WWE Championship
AJ Styles (Champion) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle
Smackdown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair (Champion) vs. Asuka
Intercontinental Championship
The Miz (Champion) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor
The finals of the Cruiserweight Championship tournament
Not “official” but, as you saw on Raw, The Undertaker vs. John Cena is also set for the show.
