Brooke Hogan reacted on Instagram to the sale of her late father Hulk Hogan’s Clearwater Beach, Florida, mansion, writing in a series of stories, “Enjoy your dirty money. You took my dad.”
Hogan’s estate sold the beachfront home for $5.9 million, TMZ reported on Friday. Hogan died at the home on July 24, 2025. He was 71.
“The sick feeling is indescribable,” Brooke wrote over a photo of the house with a “SOLD” sign. “This house was where dad and Jen envisioned growing old together. Where we brought him back to…surgery after surgery. Pool days. The smell of gasoline in his garage. His workouts downstairs.”
“We cooked, we watched Jerry springer, we played music, we cried,” she added. “I walked in that garage every visit and hugged him right when he’d open the garage door. I’d sit next to him for hours in the chair he died in.”
Brooke appeared to be referring to Jennifer McDaniel, Hogan’s second wife. Hogan bought the house in 2012, while he was married to McDaniel.
“His whole environment, his energy, his work, his relationships: First Jen-who no one but me treated with respect. Then I was gone…the truth teller… I’m sure to everyone’s delight,” Brooke wrote. “And now it’s all gone. Sold for profit.”
“Saddest ending I’ve ever seen,” she added.
In another story, over a photo of herself with her father on a dock, Brooke wrote, “Let’s not forget who was there for the 15 years before the vultures swooped in conveniently.”
Brooke Hogan on the WWE roster
Brooke also posted a photo of WWE wrestlers and staff standing on stage during the company’s televised tribute to Hogan after his death.
“Not ONE of these people stayed longer than an hour in the hospital… if they even showed,” she wrote.
“And I’ve had to hear everyone say I’m the jerk for stepping away from the toxic behavior and brainwashing, fake, greedy people,” Brooke wrote in another story, over a photo of herself with her father.
“‘I should have been there.’ ‘Everyone else’ was there till the end,” she continued. “NO. They were there AT the end. To collect.”
Another story showed the house again with the words, “Enjoy your dirty money. You took my dad.”
Brooke did not name who she was referring to in any of the posts. WWE and Hogan’s estate have not publicly responded.
The sale of Hulk Hogan’s Clearwater home
The home was listed in January at $10.989 million and was cut in price before selling for $5.9 million, 46 percent below the original asking price. Hogan bought the property for $3.3 million in 2012. A neighboring cottage he bought in 2016 sold for $2.8 million.
Brooke has said she removed herself from her father’s will before his death and now regrets it. “I regret that decision. Not because of the money, I’ve never been about the money. But because now I don’t have a seat at the table,” she told the Hollywood Raw Podcast in April. Full details are here. She has also said she has not been shown her father’s autopsy results despite multiple requests.
