I think most of you know by now that EC3 is on his way to WWE. He was working out at the Performance Center this week and all indications are that he will be starting soon on TV. For anyone doubting the EC3 to WWE reports, you just need to look at the official @WWENXT account for confirmation.
The @WWENXT recently started following EC3’s account at @therealec3. As we noted last week, EC3 has pulled out of an independent booking. That date of the booking might give away a huge spoiler on his debut date so we won’t spoil it here but if you want to read more then click here (again, this could be a big spoiler so click at your own risk).
EC3 owns the rights to his own name and he could use it if WWE if management decides that they want to gimmick. For those of you not familiar with the origins of the name, when he debuted on TNA television in 2013, he was introduced to fans as Dixie Carter’s spoiled nephew.
EC3 made his debut in 2002 and made some appearances as an enhancement talent in 2003 and 2006 on Sunday Night Heat. He was signed to WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental system in 2006 and later moved to WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling. He was part of WWE’s original incarnation of NXT and was released from his contract in 2013.
Here’s a photo of Cesaro and EC3 being used as extras back in 2006 on an episode of Monday Night Raw.
