Ric Flair says he needs one more surgery and possibly a skin graft after falling outside a Tampa restaurant last week. Flair gave the update on X on Wednesday and thanked USF Health’s Eye Institute.

“One More Surgery And One More Possible Skin Graft, And Then I Will Be Good To Go! Thank You @USFHealth Eye Institute!” Flair wrote.

Flair did not say when the surgery will take place.

What happened in Ric Flair’s fall

Flair was taken to a hospital on Friday, October 23, after falling outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida. Sources told TMZ that Flair was sitting at the bar at Wagamama that morning when he got up, left his phone and drink behind and walked across the street. He fell outside and hit his face. TMZ obtained a photo of emergency medical personnel attending to him before he was taken away by ambulance.

Flair cut his head and the area around his eye in the fall, and there was concern that he may also have had a concussion.

His daughter, Charlotte Flair, joked that night that her father told his doctor he fell because of the Ultimate Warrior dropping him on his head, and said he was “going to be ok.”

Ric Flair: ‘I Will Be Okay’

Flair posted a photo of himself with his eye bandaged the next day, Saturday, October 24. He thanked fans for their messages and prayers, and thanked the staff and doctors at Tampa General Hospital, who he said cared for him until 4:30 a.m. He wrote that he was focused on his healing and recovery and that “I will be okay.”

Flair, 77, is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time world champion.

We wish Ric Flair a full recovery.
