Jason Hotch defends the TNA International Championship against Mustafa Ali in a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match on TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! tonight, October 22, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. The show comes from the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, Alabama.
Hotch won the title from Ali in a four-way with John Skyler and Special Agent 0 at Bound for Glory on October 11. The match was billed as the end of Order 4, with all four former stablemates fighting for Ali’s title. Hotch countered Ali’s pin attempt into a roll-up to win. TNA calls Ali his “former leader.”
Rich Swann, KC Navarro, Cedric Alexander and Fabian Aichner meet in a four-way to become No. 1 contender to the TNA X Division Championship. All four were in the seven-way scramble at Bound for Glory that Amazing Red won for the vacant title.
Avery Styles wrestles his first singles match against Joe Alonzo, with Frankie Kazarian at ringside. Kazarian won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory and said he will use the title shot on the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Styles as his partner.
Director of Operations Daria Rae returns from suspension to open the show. TNA says “unfinished business with Indi Hartwell looms” over her return. Hartwell won the TNA Knockouts World Championship from Xia Brookside at Bound for Glory.
Allie and Kiera Hogan will also address the Knockouts division. They lost the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship to Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano at Bound for Glory, in Baszler’s TNA debut.
