WWE Hall of Famer Bull Nakano announced that her autobiography will be released on January 8, 2027, her birthday.

“Bull Nakano Autobiography: Monster” (ブル中野自伝 怪物) will be published in Japanese by Wani Books, Nakano wrote on X.

“It’s been 30 years since my retirement,” Nakano wrote, according to X’s translation of her post. “What really happened behind the glamorous ring? What was I thinking back then, and what was I truly fighting against? The fun times, the painful ones, and the things I can only talk about now—I’ve written it all with complete honesty.”

“I also open up without holding back about my life after retirement. This book is a condensed version of my entire life, which I’ve devoted to professional wrestling,” she added. “To the fans who shared that era with me, and to everyone cheering on women’s pro wrestling today, I hope you’ll all give it a read.”

Nakano wrote that the book covers her wars with the Gokuaku Domei and Gokumon-to stables and Aja Kong, her steel cage deathmatches and her run in the United States.

The Amazon Japan listing says the 480-page book also covers her feud with Dump Matsumoto, winning the WWF Women’s Championship, her attempt at becoming a professional golfer, her battle with illness, her WWE Hall of Fame induction and her work with SUKEBAN. The book’s cover line reads, “I abandoned ‘myself.'”

Nakano debuted for All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling in 1983 at 15. She joined Dump Matsumoto’s Gokuaku Domei and feuded with the Crush Gals, then formed Gokumon-to and won the WWWA World Singles Championship. She won the WWF Women’s Championship from Alundra Blayze in 1994.

In 2024, Nakano became the first Japanese woman inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. She is the commissioner of SUKEBAN.
