Jacob Fatu’s return to WWE programming may not be far off.
Fatu was filming WWE content on Tuesday alongside others expected to be part of the WarGames match at Survivor Series, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported.
The match is expected to be Fatu, Roman Reigns, The Usos and Solo Sikoa against The 946. WWE has not announced any matches for Survivor Series: WarGames.
Fatu has not been on WWE television since the September 28 Raw in Milwaukee. During a parking lot brawl between The Bloodline and The 946, Royce Keys slammed a door into Fatu’s face and Jaida Parker ran him over with a car, which revealed her as the group’s newest member. WWE released storyline footage of Fatu being put into an ambulance. WWE has not said whether he was actually injured.
The 946, made up of Keys, OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price), Carmelo Hayes and Parker, added Cruz Montana on Monday’s Raw in Brooklyn. Montana attacked Reigns with a chair and a discus clothesline, and the group took out The Bloodline to close the show. Keys said last week that The 946 has its eyes on WarGames.
Fatu also appears in Agent of Shadows, WWE’s micro drama with ReelShort, which premiered on October 23.
Survivor Series: WarGames takes place Saturday, November 28, at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas. Before that, World Heavyweight Champion Reigns faces Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in a champion vs. champion match at Crown Jewel this Saturday, November 7, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Crown Jewel streams on the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
