Long absent from in-ring action and rumored to return, Saraya recently achieved a new milestone, which she shared on social media. Last seen wrestling on Dynamite in October 2024, the former AEW Women’s Champion has stayed out of the public eye amid growing speculation about her return.
Often posting her training videos on social media, Saraya showed off her new milestone. “First neck nip up in a decade! We building her back up babayyy!” Saraya wrote.

Saraya had to stop wrestling after suffering a severe neck injury in 2017. Although she made a comeback from it in AEW, she wrestled sporadically and not regularly. After years of absence, she had made her return against Britt Baker at Full Gear 2022.
A few weeks ago, while speaking to TMZ, AEW Women’s Tag Team Champion Harley Cameron had opened up about her former partner, Saraya’s in-ring future.
“She’s been pretty close-lipped about what’s coming next, but I think she obviously took some time away, and I know she’s been doing some great things outside of the wrestling world and staying really busy,” Cameron said.
Speaking on Freddie Prinze Jr.’s Wrestling with Freddie podcast, Saraya has addressed the speculation surrounding her rumored participation in the 2026 Royal Rumble, confirming that the decision regarding her return ultimately lies with WWE. Despite fan demand, Fightful Select reported that she was not approached to appear. In this same interview, Saraya noted that the ball is in WWE’s court.
