On the Kickoff show, Humberto Carillo won a battle royal to become the number 1 contender for AJ Styles United States Championship.

R-Truth won the WWE 24/7 title.

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez

This was a quick match. They an MMA-style match. They went less than 5 minutes. The finish was Velasquez mounting Lesnar and throwing punches but Lesnar locked in the Kimura lock and forced Velasquez to tap out. Lesnar would not let go of the hold so Mysterio ran in with a chair. Lesnar no-sold it and attacked Mysterio and then hit the F5 on Velasquez onto a chair. Finally, Mysterio got back in the ring and hit Lesnar with several chair shots. Lesnar and Heyman retreated.

Tag Team Turmoil Match
The New Day vs. The Viking Raiders vs. Heavy Machinery vs. Lucha House Party vs. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder vs. The Revival vs. The OC vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. The B-Team

WWE says the winning team will win a World Cup and be known as the best tag team in the world. The match started with Robert Roode against Lucha House Party. Roode and Ziggler eliminated Lucha House Party. Next team in the match is Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Roode pinned Hawkins. Next team up was Heavy Machinery. Ziggler and Roode were eliminated by Heavy Machinery. The next team up was New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston). New Day eliminated Heavy Machinery. Next up was The B-Team. New Day defeated The B-Team. The next team up was The Revival. New Day eliminated The Revival. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder attacked Kofi Kingston after they were eliminated. Next up was The OC, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The attack allowed Gallows to pin Kingston. Next team up was The Viking Raiders. The OC won the match to become the “best tag team in the world.” Michael Cole noted how they pinned the Raw Tag Team Champions, clearly hinting at a future match for the titles.

Mansoor vs. Cesaro
Mansoor got a big reaction from his hometown fans. They gave him pyro for his entrance. This was a very good match. Mansoor pinned Cesaro after hitting a moonsault off the top rope. Cole yelled “what an upset!” as Mansoor was declared the winner. Mansoor gave a passionate post-match speech.

They did a backstage interview with Seth Rollins about his upcoming match with Bray Wyatt. Rollins said the rivalry ends tonight. He says he didn’t start the fight but he is damn sure not afraid to finish it and he plans to do whatever it takes to leave Crown Jewel as the champion.

Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury
This was a slow match. Braun dominated most of it. Braun did what he could to hide the fact that Fury is so green. The end was Strowman taking out Fury at ringside. Fury made his way back in the ring and Strowman got up on the apron to get in the ring but was caught with a punch in the face. Strowman was knocked out at ringside and did not make it in the ring by the count of 10.

Samir Singh won the WWE 24/7 title back from R-Truth in a backstage segment.

WWE United States Championship
AJ Styles vs. Humberto Carrillo

Good match. In the last few minutes of the match, Carrillo tweaked his knee and Styles took advantage of that. Styles pinned Carrillo after hitting the Phenomenal Forearm.

Byron Saxton interviewed Hulk Hogan backstage.

Natalya vs. Lacey Evans
Evans and Natalya wrestled in full body suits. They had a good match. The finish was Natalya hitting the discus lariat and then locking in the sharpshooter to force Evans to submit. They hugged after the match and then greeted some of the female fans at ringside.

Team Hogan vs. Team Flair
Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Shorty G and Ali vs. Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre

This was a wild match with tons of false finishes. The finish was Orton distracted by Shorty G as he was about to punt Reigns in the head. Reigns won the match by pinning Orton after hitting the spear. The babyfaces celebrated after the match.

WWE Universal Championship
Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt

They battled around the arena, including the ringside area and on a platform near the fans. They eventually made it up to the stage area and Wyatt took a bump through electrical equipment but he no-sold it and put on the mandible claw and then hit Sister Abigail to pin Rollins. Wyatt posed with the title on the stage as the show ended.
