Mustafa Ali’s TNA contract is up at the end of the year, and the company is expected to try to keep him.
Fightful Select reported the update.
“Mustafa Ali’s TNA contract is up at the end of the year. Ali is highly regarded within TNA, and the company is expected to make an offer to retain him,” Fightful Select reported.
Fightful Select reported in October 2025 that Ali’s deal was set to expire at the end of 2025 and that he was keeping his options open. He stayed with the company into 2026.
Mustafa Ali in TNA
Ali joined TNA in 2024 after his WWE release in September 2023. He is a former TNA X-Division Champion and TNA International Champion.
He led Order 4, and Matt Hardy, who works behind the scenes at TNA, called Ali “an absolute MVP” this summer and said a TNA World Championship run is “destined to come.” Hardy also said Ali came up with the story built around Jason Hotch, his former Order 4 stablemate.
Hotch won the International Championship in a four-way with Ali, John Skyler and Special Agent 0 at Bound for Glory on October 11, in a match billed as the end of Order 4. Ali lost a rematch to Hotch in a 2 Out of 3 Falls match on the October 22 iMPACT in Dothan, Alabama, taking the first fall before being disqualified in the second for hitting Hotch with the title belt.
TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC and streams on TNA+.
