TNA will no longer be working with Max Caster, according to reports, a day after his Bound for Glory entrance rap drew backlash for a line referencing Riyadh. The line came a day after a deadly attack on the city’s main airport.

Ali Al-Marafi, chairman of Qatar Pro Wrestling, posted in Arabic on Monday afternoon that Caster “was fired.” Earlier Monday, he posted that TNA’s management would issue a statement about what happened, and called the line “unacceptable and appalling”:

TNA has also deleted all of its Max Caster clips on social media, including the rap, Fightful reported. TNA’s X post of his entrance now returns X’s “this page doesn’t exist” message. As of this writing, neither TNA nor Caster has commented publicly. The match is still listed on TNA’s Bound for Glory results page.

Caster made his TNA debut against Moose on Sunday at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, answering Moose’s open challenge. During his rap, he said:

“I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh.”

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh told Americans to avoid King Khalid International Airport after attacks on Saturday. Fans replying to TNA’s post of Caster’s entrance before it was deleted called the line insensitive, and some called on TNA to fire him. The rap also included a crude line aimed at Moose and a jab at his lisp.

Moose won the match with a spear. Caster refused a handshake before the bell but accepted one afterward.

Moose issued the open challenge in a video on the October 8 iMPACT. Caster answered it the next day with a rap, calling himself “the Best Wrestler Alive.” Moose is a former TNA World Champion. In the main event, Leon Slater beat Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship.

The Riyadh Airport Attacks

The Saturday strike on King Khalid International Airport killed 12 people and wounded more than 300, Saudi authorities said, and blamed Yemen’s Houthis. The toll rose to 13 on Sunday when an Indian citizen died of injuries from the attack.

An earlier strike on October 8 killed three people at the same airport. Another strike hit the airport on Sunday night, killing one person and injuring 11, according to Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority.

WWE is scheduled to hold Crown Jewel at Riyadh Season Stadium on November 7. WWE has not announced any change, but it has confirmed it has contingency plans. Dave Meltzer said Sunday that the show is in “jeopardy” of taking place in Riyadh.

Max Caster’s History of Controversial Raps

This is not the first time a Caster rap has drawn backlash. In August 2021, an AEW Dark rap referenced Simone Biles’ mental health and the Duke lacrosse case. Tony Khan called it “terrible” and said it “shouldn’t have aired.”

Caster was reportedly sent to sensitivity training afterward. In December 2024, AEW cut a Luigi Mangione line from his Rampage rap. Caster said the editor had “no respect for what I do and no respect for hip-hop.”

Max Caster’s Road to TNA

It was Caster’s first match since his AEW contract expired on October 1. He and his former Acclaimed partner Anthony Bowens became free agents at the same time. TNA never said whether Caster had signed with the company.

Caster had not wrestled for AEW since December 2025. He worked the independent scene instead, losing to Bobby Orlando at Beyond Wrestling’s Wrestling Open RI on July 6. AEW removed him from its online roster on October 9.

In AEW, The Acclaimed won the AEW World Tag Team Championship from Swerve In Our Glory in September 2022. Caster and Bowens later held the AEW World Trios Championship with Billy Gunn for a record 238 days.
